Yes, a debtor will be able to continue to collect rent from the rental property he owns even after filing for bankruptcy, so long as the debtor continues to own the rental property. The right to collect rent ceases up until the point when the title changes from the debtor to a new buyer or the bank, which can often be many months after the bankruptcy filing.
