Yes, tax refunds are considered a contingent asset which needs to be listed in the asset schedule of the petition filing if it has not been received and deposited into your deposit accounts already. However, if it has already been received and deposited into your deposit accounts and in cases where it is already spent, then it does not need to be separately listed as an asset.
